| Here you will find a brief description of how to search for a specific product or an article in our new web-catalogue. |
|
|
There are many ways to find a requested product/article. Below you find a brief description of 4 of the most important and common alternatives.
|
|
|
1. Item group
If you already know the 6 digits code-number of a specific item group or a specific reference-number, simply type the actual number in the search-field, e.g and hit the   -button.
These specific numbers are shown at the bottom right corner of each page in the catalogue paper version.

|
2. Free text search of product/article
If you already know parts of the name of the item/product or contents of a text in a technical description, simply type the name or text in the search-field, e.g . As you type you will see an action bar pull-down menu of different choices that might correspond to what you are looking for. If you hit the -button or "enter" you will be directed to the page corresonding to the highlighted product/article from this pull-down menu.
For more advanced search you might use "," or "AND" to specify your search further, e.g

3. Type of product
If you know what type or kind of product you are searching for, according to the 15 sections of the catalogue, simply type the description of the product in the search-field, e.g and hit the -button. The mentioned sections are as follows:
Searchlight, Floodlight, Navigation, Helideck, Hazardous Area, Exterior, Installation Equipment, Exit Sign, Decorative, Downlight, Interior, Fibre Optics, UL/CSA products, Electrical Heating and Technical Information.
You will now see a list of different choices that might correspond to what you are looking for.
For more advanced search where you know the type of product and the category, e.g you need a Floodlight for Hazardous Area, you separete the words "Floodlight" and "Hazardous Area" with a "," or "AND":

4. Section Index
The catalogue is divided into 15 separate sections as already described. Each section has a section index which is found by a reference number in the search-field, as shown below:
